The Club?
I work in the town of Yarmouth, Maine
and the big Yarmouth Clam Festival started today. My company allows people use
our parking lot for free since it tends to boost sales in our
store.
I was driving some coworkers back from lunch [in
Freeport- locals try to avoid the Clam Fest] and I parked next to a Jeep
Cherokee from Connecticut. It was one of the older ones- more boxy style- from
the late 80's, early 90's.
I notice it
has a club on the wheel...
... in
Yarmouth, Maine- the town that doesn't even have a measurable crime
rate...
... in a parking lot full of
nicer cars- many of which are left unlocked [people leave them running as they
shop in our store in the winter!].
I
suppose its just a habit from living in CT, where any and every car is broken
into at least once.
So, I think the
real point of this is: Don't live in CT... or ... Move to
Maine.
