Football
About 12 people from work got together
for a touch football game yesterday.
And boy do my legs hurt today. I really wasn't
built to run and add in that I don't get any practice at it makes for some sore
muscles. The game itself was great- everyone contributed and no one got
hurt.
We've already got next week's
game set for Tuesday. Hopefully I will have recovered by
then.
In news from the home- I'm just
about finished painting the living room. Just a little more trim work and I can
move the furniture back into place. It was fun watching the tv last night- I was
sitting in my recliner with my legs draped on the futon because they are that
close. And from my chair, I could only adjust the volume, not change the
channel. I had to get up, slide the recliner back, walk half way around the room
to where the cable box sits on the floor to change it. I decided to just watch
the baseball game and let monday night football happen without me.
I almost forgot all of the plants
between me and the tv: Pedro Martinez was pitching from the jungle all evening.
Interesting but a little annoying.
