Past Weekend

First, I added photos to the boating adventure. Check 'em out.

Second, not much new. Kelly and I were back at the beach Friday night. The friendly cat was there again. Didn't relieve itself in front of us this time. I think it likes us!

The cops did show up. Kelly had brought one beer and tucked it away. From where we sat, we could see the cop looking into my car with a flashlight. He shined it across the beach, somehow not seeing us, and then just left. Huh. Cool. We were doing anything but we didn't really want to get tossed out either.

Saturday, got up late.

Sunday I went to Bradbury State Park. I hiked around for a bit but I'm really familiar with the trails and decided it was time to get adventurous. I just started walking off the trail. I knew where I was and that I would reach other trails but it was nice to be off the path and not pass anyone. I eventually set up the hammock and read for a while.

Monday, Heather borrowed my car, so it was some urban backpacking for me. I did my somewhat usual route through the old port, around the east end and back bay and then to Deering Oaks park. I sat and read some more as well attempting a crossword puzzle. Some guy was near me getting out his radio control sail boat for the pond but then realized he had taken the batteries out of the controller. I was hoping to see some fast paced sailing action!
