The Bachelor Party Weekend
With Jonathan and Tia's wedding coming up this
weekend, it was time for the Bachelor/ette
parties.
For Jonathan, it was a BBQ on Saturday at his place and then off to an unknown location on Sunday.
On a side note, I showed up at Jonathan's early on Saturday and he helped me install my old subwoofer in the volvo. The bass is pumpin' once more.
Anyway, the email invites had gone out a bit late and June is a bad month for most people anyway [at least one person was going to another wedding that day]. But, Jonathan's brother Geoff was able to surprise Jonathan by showing up for the BBQ instead of on sunday. Ex-coworker Chris was able to make it as well, making a good group of 4 for Bocce.
We chilled on the deck [chilled is the wrong word since it was 80+ and humid] until after we ate, then it was time for Bocce. Jonathan and I made a good run of it, but lost to Geoff and Chris well after dark, 21-20.
Jonathan, Geoff, and I got up sunday and went to the amusement park in Windham. There we spent 20 minutes or so talking Jonathan into going on the Skymaxx- a giant swing. He finally agreed when Geoff said he would go to. I stayed on the ground and shot video.
After that, we raced some go-karts and climbed the rock wall. Actually, Geoff was the only one who climbed it.
