Update
Not much exciting going on...
yet.
This past weekend ended up being rather slow and
restful. Erica and Van were supposed to visit from Vermont but illness stopped
that. The silver lining is that the apartment is good and
clean.
Went to the final Seadogs
baseball game that I had bought tickets for last night. The Seadogs posted 10
runs in the 6th inning on their way to an easy victory. There were none of the
usual between inning activities. Instead the "Blue Brothers" performed. They
drove out in a car that was something like the one from the movie. That was
cool. They sang, which wasn't. They put on some short 'skit' type things. Those
varied widely. They bribed the umpire with money and a blonde woman, which was
probably the best one because the umpire did a good job acting that one
out.
Leaving the park, we saw their big
traveling rig. There was debate on how much they make considering they are on
the minor league baseball circuit. I guess they can't be making that much or
they certainly wouldn't be doing
it...
In other news, Rick has my
mountain bike ready and is delivering it this weekend. I'll hopefully be
unbroken enough on Monday to give a full report.
